Carlist.my Gears Up To Hosts Three Day Automotive Expo in Setia City Convention Centre, Shah Alam

Shah Alam, 19th July 2018 – Carlist.my, the country’s No.1 automotive website, is excited to once again host the Carlist.my DRIVE: Auto Fair 2018 from 27th July to 29th July 2018.
Held at the Setia City Convention Centre, Shah Alam, the Carlist.my DRIVE: Auto Fair 2018 promises to be an ideal platform for car lovers to find their dream car, get accessories and to see the latest car models in the country. The three day event will be open to all from 10am to 9pm.

Last year we had more than 20,000 visitors and we believe that this year, with the reduction of the GST to 0% and before the implementation of the Sales and Services Tax, there will be more people looking to purchase, upgrade or are in the market for new car accessories.”
According to the Malaysian Automotive Association (MAA), total vehicle sales increased 28% to 64,502 units last month, compared with 50,273 units a year earlier, bolstered by the reduction in car prices due to the zero-rated Goods and Services Tax (GST) and festive related campaigns and promotions.
Stone added that with over 160,000 vehicles up for sale on Carlist.my, serving more than 3 million unique visitors a month, the Carlist.my DRIVE: Auto Fair 2018 strives to bring that same experience on-ground for all Malaysians to enjoy.

The Carlist.my DRIVE: Auto Fair 2018 will feature over 20 car and accessory brands such as BMW, Mazda, Isuzu, Subaru, Perodua, Nissan and Honda showcasing their latest models with exclusive deals and promotions. Other participating brands include Maxis, SOCAR, Ambipur, Ottoman, Trapo, Ninebot, Happy Fresh and Regal Valet, who are all set to offer exclusive deals and discounts during the exhibition.
Aside from this, the company will also be launching Carlist.my’s #SafeDriving initiative.
“We take safety very seriously and we are thrilled to have the Malaysian Public Works Department (JKR) together with Malaysian Institute of Road Safety Research (MIROS) at the Carlist.my DRIVE: Auto Fair 2018. They will be conducting road safety talks, workshops and simulation program for the visitors. Honda will also be offering the Takata airbag replacement program for affected models. So, if you are a Honda car owner and affected by the faulty airbag, please do be sure to bring your car in for an airbag replacement.” elaborated Stone.
He added that as buying a new car is a big decision for a household, the Carlist.my DRIVE: Auto Fair 2018 has been designed to be engaging for the whole family.
“We want it to be an event that the whole family can enjoy. We will also be featuring food trucks selling a variety of food and drinks that will satisfy visitors’ hunger for more than just good car bargains” he shared
Aside from allowing visitors to test drive their preferred vehicle at the event, there will be various family-fun activities such as immersive Simworx racing simulator, an indoor screening of iflix’s popular programmes, hot air balloon rides, go-kart racing and inflatables for kids.
Carlist.my will also be giving away a brand new Nissan X-Trail Aero Edition worth RM150,000 together with other cool prizes to lucky winners who register, perform test drives or place car purchase booking during the exhibition. Additionally, Hong Leong Bank, will also be present to help customers facilitate their payments towards their new vehicles.
